Standardise how feature requests enter delivery so requests are well-formed, routed correctly, and visible throughout their lifecycle.

This project introduces steward-owned intake, stronger request validation, clearer routing to departments, and better visibility into what has happened to each request. It creates a more consistent path from request through review, discovery, delivery, or decision, rather than allowing anyone to raise delivery-ready issues directly.

The goal is to reduce noisy or incomplete intake, improve prioritisation, and make it easier for teams and requesters to understand whether a request is in discovery, planned for delivery, parked, cancelled, or converted into one or more projects. It should also support clearer department views in Linear and on the work site, so stakeholders can track both their overall request pipeline and the status of individual requests.
